Hiroko Kusano has more than 20 years in museum and non-profit management. She has diverse experience encompasses operations, curation, fundraising, membership, technology systems, and retail operations, nonprofit and for-profit start-up strategy, as well as conference and event management. Since 2011, she has been co-owner of MuseWeb, an annual conference that reviews and analyzes the issues of new technology and their impact on cultural, natural, and scientific heritage for more than 800 attendees from more than 40 countries each year and an online community of more than 80,000. Hiroko manages the conference, expo hall, social events, scholarship program, AV, fundraising, and sponsorship, as well as volunteers for the event. In addition to the week-long conference in a new North American city each year, she has produced numerous special events, including dozens of events and conferences and publications in Hong Kong, Beijing, Chengdu, Wuhan, and Shanghai in China; Daejeon and Seoul in Korea; and Melbourne, Australia.
