Max Evjen is an Assistant Professor of Practice at Michigan State University (MSU) in the Department of Theatre teaching Site Specific Performance, and teaches in the Arts, Cultural Management & Museum Studies Program. He is also Digital Humanities Coordinator in the Digital Humanities Program, at MSU. He was recently Performance and Digital Engagement Specialist at the Michigan State University Museum before moving to Digital Humanities. He previously worked on the Leonardo Da Vinci's Codex and the Power of Observation exhibition at the Phoenix Art Museum, was the Director of Learning Programs at the John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, and worked with Cornell University's Interaction Design Lab in the development of mobile device applications. He was also the Artistic and Executive Director of Redshift Productions, an organization that facilitated collaboration among scientists and artists to create performances. Max earned an MA in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University, an MBA from Ithaca College, and a BFA in Performing Arts: Acting from Adelphi University.
